(La Spezia, Italy 1862)
He was born in Italy but was a Swiss citizen. He arrived in our country in 1888 declaring himself "Artiste Potographe". He soon set up his photographic studio in Buenos Aires and worked until approximately 1910. He was one of the most prolific authors of views, types and customs of the period. His work covers the city and province of Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos, Corrientes, the Gran Chaco, San Juan and Mendoza. He developed a constant work as a graphic documentalist traveling all over the country.
After 1922 he apparently returned to Switzerland. The place and date of his death are not known.
